PROPOSAL SUBJECT: The GPCO endorse and join the MAD:COW Coalition for the March 20 March and Rally

TIMELINE EFFECTIVE: The Saturday, March 20 March and Rally will begin at 11:00 am at the flagpole on the Lawrence Street Mall of the Auraria Campus, just west of downtown Denver. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Similar to protests planned in over fifty major cities around the country, the March 20 protest march and rally in downtown Denver will amplify the growing chorus of citizens and soldiers alike to end the criminal and parasitic war on Iraq, bring our troops home, and divert the obscene military budget to enhance job opportunities, health care and schools. That the Green Party of Colorado accept the invitation to join and endorse the MAD:COW (Making A Difference:Coloradoans Against War) ad hoc coalition for the March 20 one-year anniversary of the invasion and occupation of Iraq.
