2. PROPOSAL SUBJECT:
Electing Bruce Meyer to serve as a National Delegate at the GPUS National Convention.

3. FULL PROPOSAL:
This proposal requests the Council elect Bruce Meyer to serve as the National Delegate at the GPUS National Convention in Milwaukee.

4. BACKGROUND:
Charlie Green, our present GPUS Delegate will not be able to attend the Convention in Milwaukee. We need an alternate for Charlie, and Bruce Meyer would be that person.

Note: Bruce will not arrive in Milwaukee until Thursday at 1pm, so will miss the Thursday morning meeting. He will be available to represent us from Thursday afternoon through Sunday.

5. JUSTIFICATION/GOALS:
We need a GPOC Delegate in Milwaukee to attend National Meetings.

6. PROS AND CONS:
Benefits: Minimally, the GPCO will be better represented at the 2004 GPUS National Convention.
Drawbacks: None.

7. Alternatives to the proposal
The alternative is to not add a National Delegate.
